Stozhar Floor Lamp – Sculptural Lighting Inspired by Ukrainian Harvest Rituals

Inspired by the image of a harvested wheat sheaf (snop), this lamp symbolizes the completed natural cycle, the fertility of the land, and the comforting presence of home.

The deeply textured base is hand-formed from a unique biocomposite blend — composed of clay, hemp fibers, wood shavings, cellulose, and natural wood glue — built on a metal core for strength and durability. It evokes the look of scorched earth or solidified lava. The oversized shade, crafted from natural raffia, references the Didukh — a traditional Ukrainian talisman representing family, light, and abundance.

When illuminated, the raffia creates the glow of smoldering straw at dusk — soft light that gathers people together. This floor lamp adds soul and substance to wabi-sabi, brutalist, boho, Japandi, and gallery-like interiors.

Care Instructions

Base – Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid moisture or heavy impact

Lampshade – Dust gently with a feather brush or low-power vacuum without nozzle. Avoid chemical cleaners

Moving the Lamp – Always remove the shade before moving. Do not lift by the socket or shade

Packaging & Tracking

For larger or more delicate items such as floor lamps or table lamps, the lampshade and the base may be shipped in separate boxes for safe delivery. In this case, you will receive two tracking numbers — one for each package.
