Our Materials
Where earth, craft, and consciousness meet. At PletoStudio, materials are more than physical matter — they are a language.
We work with what nature gives: clay, hemp fibers, cellulose, wood shavings, mineral powders, sand, and natural pigments, combined into our proprietary Pleto Biocomposite and bound with an eco-friendly adhesive.
Each mixture is created by hand, each form shaped intuitively, each surface finished with a natural protective primer to preserve its honest tactility and long-lasting character.
We carefully select every component for purity, safety, and environmental integrity.
This is our philosophy of conscious design — to create slowly, respectfully, and with full attention to the nature of the material.
We also work with oak and other hardwoods, treated with natural oils and waxes to reveal their living grain.
Paired with hand-spun wool, linen, cotton, velvet, and raffia, our materials create a dialogue between texture and light — between the calm of nature and the intimacy of human touch.
