NASNOVA

NASNOVA is a sculptural floor lamp centered on the idea of inner completion.
The object reflects a state in which form is already formed within itself — stable, grounded, and resolved — before becoming visible through light. It is not about emergence or transformation, but about presence and readiness.

The name NASNOVA originates from Ukrainian semantic roots and refers to an inner foundation — a condition of quiet maturity, where no external gesture is required to validate the form. NASNOVA is not a beginning as an event, but as a state of completion.

The lampshade is crafted using a hand-wrapping technique with premium white cotton yarn. The material softly diffuses light while maintaining a clear and controlled silhouette. The illumination remains calm and atmospheric, supporting the object’s presence rather than competing with its form.

The base is made from Pleto Biocomposite, PletoStudio’s proprietary natural material composed of clay, hemp fibers, wood shavings, cellulose, mineral components, and an eco-friendly binder. This formulation creates a dense yet tactile structure with an honest material character.

The surface is enriched with an authorial mixture incorporating fine cast-iron shavings, forming a restrained mineral depth embedded directly within the material. These subtle inclusions introduce visual complexity without ornament, emphasizing material integrity rather than decorative effect. Each base carries unique traces of the making process, reinforcing the individuality of every piece.

NASNOVA does not seek visual dominance.
It functions as a stabilizing presence within a space — defined by material clarity, restraint, and inner balance.
